Are the diesel fuel trailers at Fuelfix compliant with Australian standards?
Yes, all our fuel trailers and diesel tanks including the solar-powered model are designed and built to meet Australian standards, as well as mine site requirements. They also come with a range of accessories for pumping, spill containment and more.
What signage should a fuel trailer have?
When diesel is transported in bulk packaging, meaning any quantity that is in a container with a capacity exceeding 500 litres, it is regulated and does require placarding. Therefore, diesel fuel trailers require Flammable Liquid Category 4 placards to be displayed on both sides of the trailer tanks.
The information placard for a diesel trailer tank of Category 4 flammable liquid must have the words 'COMBUSTIBLE LIQUID' in lettering not less than 100mm high in black on a white or silver background.

What is the difference between the solar-powered and diesel-powered fuel trailers?
The difference between our two fuel trailer options is in the pumping units. Our solar-powered trailer has a pumping unit powered by a solar panel and 12v pump, which has a dispensing rate of up to 52L per minute.
Our diesel-powered fuel trailers have a pumping unit powered by diesel, and provide an easy-start option, no matter the time of day.
